Internship at the Hartnack School

The Hartnackschule offers year-round internships for German as a foreign and second language, usually lasting 4 weeks. Especially students from Berlin and Potsdam universities and colleges complete their internships with us, but we also receive applications from the rest of Germany and from abroad.

After a short observation phase, the intern assists the teacher and independently conducts smaller lessons. At the end of the internship, there is an assessed lesson sample of approx. 45 minutes in the presence of a member of the pedagogical department heads.

In the student internship, which is often obligatory at Berlin schools, the intern has the opportunity to see teaching from the teacher's perspective and are supervised by experienced language instructors.
