Our A2 language course builds on the A1 German course. You can therefore attend this course if you already have a basic knowledge of German. You will deepen your knowledge and learn new, useful skills. You will complete the course with an exam, for which we will thoroughly prepare you.
After completing the A2 online German course, the following skills will be part of your linguistic repertoire:
- You will be able to talk about everyday topics such as your free time, health, work, hobbies, and more. You will be able to communicate your opinion simply but clearly – you will be able to agree and disagree in a dialogue. You will also be able to express simple requests and suggestions.
- You will understand everyday information, for example from the media or conversations. You will understand short, slowly spoken dialogues well.
- You can read simple texts, such as advertisements, emails, or forms. You can easily find your way around timetables, websites, signs, and more.
- You can write simple texts on familiar topics. You can now also write short emails, reports, or invitations. After the A2 language course, you can also fill out forms, such as for job applications or registrations.

How long does the A2 German course last?
To learn German at A2 level, you will need two months with us. Our complete course is divided into two parts: A2.1 and A2.2. Each of these parts lasts one month. You can book them either separately or together in our complete package.
What are the costs of the A2 German course?

Can I take the course without any prior knowledge?
You should have completed an A1 German course or already have equivalent prior knowledge, for example through self-study. This is the only way you will be able to follow the course and really improve your German.
Do I need a book for the A2 course?
We work with a textbook in this A2 German course. You can find more information about this in our teaching materials section. Please purchase this before the course begins. We will provide you with all other materials during the course.
