After completing the course you will be able to:

Speak

Say hello and goodbye

State your name, origin, profession, age, place of residence

Ask and answer simple questions (e.g. “What is your name?”, “Where do you live?”)

Use numbers, times and days of the week correctly

Listening

Recognize individual words and very simple statements on familiar topics

Understand simple information such as telephone numbers, times or prices

Understand when spoken very clearly and slowly

Reading

Understand short, highly contextualized texts: e.g. forms, signs, calendars

Recognize names, numbers, places and common everyday terms

Writing

Filling in short sentences and simple cloze texts

Give your own details (name, address, nationality, profession) in writing

Write simple emails or notes with sample sentences (e.g. appointment cancellation, invitation)
